Gianna Rose

Gianna is a third-year student at Rhode Island College pursuing double majors in political science and public administration while going for her minor in international nongovernmental organizations studies. 

Aside from her secretariat duties at SCG, Gianna is president of the Political Science Club, a member of Pre-law Society, an Emerging Leaders graduate, and a member on the College Committee on Mission and Goals. She is currently placed in an internship working on cannabis equity, creating a model Technical Assistance Program. And, she has recently been awarded the position of being a 2024 RIC Washington Week/Congressional Intern!

Gianna’s hope is to one day go to law school and become a constitutional or administrative lawyer and help raise the 2% of Latinas in law.

“Joining SCG, has been one of the greatest and most important decisions I have made for my academic career. My current role as Secretary has been extremely rewarding, watching student organizations grow and thrive while planning fun events for students. 

Working with amazing student leaders has inspired me to keep working hard to achieve my own personal goals. SCG has provided me the tools to influence positive change, represent students, enhance my diplomacy skills, and to cultivate a strong community.
